  • Support for deeper, more restorative sleep
  • A grounded, present feeling that lingers after you leave

First visit

I’m new to massage. What should I expect at my first session?

+

You’ll start with a brief intake so your therapist understands your goals, pressure preferences, and any injuries. You’ll then be given privacy to undress to your comfort level and lie on the table under the sheet and blanket.

Only the area being worked on is uncovered at any time. Your therapist will check in about pressure, temperature, and positioning so you can relax knowing you’re in control of the experience.

Clothing

What should I wear, and how undressed do I need to be?

+

Wear whatever you feel comfortable arriving in—no special outfit required. In the room, you can undress to your comfort level; many guests choose to remove most clothing, keeping undergarments on or off based on preference.

You’ll be fully draped with a sheet and blanket at all times, and we only uncover the area we’re working on. If you prefer to stay more clothed, just let your therapist know and we’ll adapt techniques accordingly.

Pressure & comfort

How do I ask for more or less pressure during the massage?

+

Your session is a collaboration. You can ask for more or less pressure at any time—no need to wait until the end. Simple phrases like “a little lighter on my shoulders” or “you can go deeper there” are always welcome.

If something doesn’t feel right—positioning, temperature, music—please speak up. Our goal is for you to feel safe, supported, and able to fully relax.

Timing

Does my session length include changing and consultation time?

+

Session length refers to hands‑on time as much as possible. We build a few minutes into your booking for arrival, a quick intake, and time to get on and off the table.

Arriving 5–10 minutes early helps ensure you receive your full massage time and can transition in and out of the room without rushing.

Tipping & payment

How does tipping work, and what forms of payment do you accept?

+

Gratuity is always appreciated but never required. If you choose to tip, many guests follow a 15–25% range, similar to other service industries.

We accept major cards, contactless payments, and cash. If you’re using a package, membership, or gift card, you can still add gratuity by card or cash at checkout.

Health & safety

When should I reschedule or avoid getting a massage?

+

Please reschedule if you’re feeling sick, have a fever, or are within the first 24–48 hours of a new injury. It’s better to rest and come in when your body can safely receive deeper work.

If you are pregnant, managing a medical condition, or under a doctor’s care, let us know on your intake form. We’re happy to coordinate with your provider when needed and adapt the session for your safety.
